YAdventure Guides

This is a nationally recognized program available for all children ages three years to third grade. Established more than 70 years ago, the program emphasizes strengthening the bond between fathers and their children.

The Y Adventure Guide program provides children and their fathers with opportunities to become real friends by sharing enjoyable experiences, observing and learning about one another, and developing a mutual respect.

The program also provides a vehicle through which father and child can build a lasting relationship.

       

In the spirit of our saying "YMCA.  We building strong kids, strong families, strong communities,"  we believe that by investing a little time with your child now, you may build a relationship that will last a lifetime.

Camp Grady Spruce is where Y Adventure Guides "camp out" and learn about man, nature, and the environment, all the while experiencing the magic of camp.

Y Adventure Guide programs are offered at individual YMCAs
